Children's Ministry at Blooming Grove Baptist
Statistics show that if a person is going to accept Chrsit as their personal Lord and Savior, they are more likely to do so before age 13. Our goal is to teach children in a safe, friendly, and fun environment about Jesus, what it means to be a Christian and how to follow Jesus daily. We have classes on Sundays and Wednesdays for kids from birth -6th grade. We offer Nursery for kids age birth -2 years and Children's Church for kids age 3-1st grade every Sunday during morning services. We offer Children's Church for kids 2nd-6th grade every other week during morning services. We also have extra activities through out the year for kids and their families. Please look at the calendar listed below:
Feb. 20: Sign up for Kids Camp with at least $50 deposit.
March 6: $50 payment toward Kids Camp due.
March 20: Spring Break at Cullman Fun Zone. Cost is $25. We will grab a burger on the way after the morning service.
April 3: $50 payment toward Kids Camp due.
April 17: Old Fashioned Easter Egg Roll and picnic for the whole church. Bring 12 eggs to hide, your basket and potluck lunch.
May 1: $50 payment toward Kids Camp due.
May 22: Graduation Recognition for kindergarteners, 6th graders, and 12th graders in the morning service.
June 5: Rest of payment towards Kids Camp due.
June 14: Terrific Tuesday Water Fun. Bring your swimsuit, towel, sunscreen and a fun attitude. We will play water games and have a slip and slide. Bring a sack lunch. Drinks and dessert will be provided.
June 27-30: Kids Camp at Shocco Springs for 3rd-7th graders. Cost is $279.
July 10-13: VBS (6:00-8:30) Supper provided each night beginning at 5:50.
July 28: Thrilling Thursday Fun at Desoto Caverns. We leave at 8:00 a.m. Cost is $30 and bring a sack lunch.
August 14: Back to School at the Cullman Aquatic Center. $15 for swimming and a burger on the way. We leave right after morning services.
October 30: Fall Festival and Kids Revival. 4:00 will begin the revival and 5:30 will begin our Fall Festival. Free event.
December 4: Christmas Skating Party. Cost is $10. That includes lunch and skates. We leave right after morning services.
